Land, Air, and Sea

We provide a wide range of shock and vibration environmental testing services, solar radiation testing and climatic testing that are designed to simulate a variety of environmental and operational conditions. We can simulate a variety of transportation or vibration scenarios to test performance and operational capability of both military wheeled and tracked vehicles. With our wide range of size and configuration of our thermal chambers, we can meet military climatic and altitude testing requirements. We can take your gear from hot, humid conditions of the tropics to the cold dry conditions of the arctic in seconds. We can determine how well it will survive a driving rainstorm, an ice storm or the effects of blazing persistent sunshine. Our new Frankonia EMI chamber will test to MIL-STD-461G requirements for many applications such as surface ships, submarines, army aircraft and more.

Our testing has supported gear that has gone into many major defense programs - LAV IIII upgrade, data acquisition and servers for both naval & air platforms, communication equipment and video displays.

Why is Mil SPEC testing important for the defense industry?

A United States defense standard, often called a military standard, "MIL-STD", or "MIL-SPEC”, is used to help achieve standardization objectives by the U.S. Department of Defense. Since these products need to be proven reliable, and able to undergo high-level physical and environmental stress, the MIL SPEC testing process is extremely thorough. Operational durability and physical characteristics are critical. Military specifications are extremely important for government contracts and supply, many of which include mandatory testing requirements. Because these military testing standards are so exacting, they are also used in other technical organizations and non-defense industries to ensure they are producing the highest-level product quality.
